How to Do a Practical Plan of Action for Your Business

There’s a lot of bad advice out there about planning, starting with, “You should project your revenue out 5 to 7 years.” Impossible to do in any meaningful way! Ask General Motors.

I will tell you how small business owners create a practical, realistic plan of action for the coming year -- a plan that will actually provide good guidance so that they will stay on target. This is aimed at any owner-run business, from 1 to 100 employees.

I’ve been working with these small business owners for 20+ years, so I know what works and what doesn’t. I’ll share it with you in this 45-minute teleseminar.

In our “Success in 2010” plan workshop, you can put everything I say into practice for your own business.

In the free teleseminar, I’ll include a couple of the exercises we use in the plan workshop, so you can get a taste, and take something away you can apply to your business.

• How to project your business revenue. Seven different ways. Which work best for you?

• Things happening out in the rest of the world, e.g., trends with the economy, technology, your customers and competitors. How are these things an opportunity for you? A problem?

• Need to hire? What position would have greatest impact? Cost of hiring vs. how it makes you money or saves you money.
