Vintage Native American Inlaid Owl Pendant, Paul Lucario Jr

Vintage Native American handcrafted silver pendant with an inlaid owl. The owl is inlaid with turquoise eyes. Hallmarked Paul Lucario, Jr. (who is from Laguna Pueblo). Measures 1-1/2" diameter. Item# 3429

This vintage pendant features an inlaid owl with two Sleeping Beauty Turquoise stones for eyes, a spotted jasper or cowry shell body and silver beads for the feet and beak. The owl is surrounded with silver beaded edging and then set in a rigid twisted silver hoop, measuring 1-1/2" wide. The piece is hallmarked Paul Lucario, Jr with an engraver. My research tells me that Paul Lucario, Jr. is from Laguna Pueblo.

The pendant tests positive as coin silver or better. Excellent vintage condition.  circa 1970-80s.
