Andrea Lonjose Shirley is best known for her use of the Disney characters today. As far as I know, they were not commissioned by Disney .. In fact, I read that in the 1970's, the Zuni tribe was issued an injunction by Disney for them to cease all production of this line of Mickey Mouse Jewelry.. I don't know what became of that injunction, because they are producing the jewelry today..
