I am a genuinely happily married woman with two boys ages 9 & 19. Prior to opening Eye Catching Beauty on Feb 13th, 2007 I was primarily a housewife & mom spending my weekends and some weekday evenings attending my oldest son’s various sporting events and my youngest son’s art and music lessons.
I earned my degree in Physical Anthropology at San Jose state University after several years of being a part time student when my oldest son was in his first few years of school. A Full time student for a couple years until I had my second baby boy, and took a two year break so I could be at home with him full time the first couple years. Then back to part time until I finally graduated in 2004 lol.
I am an average American woman, a middle child of 3 girls, with two outstanding and exceptional boys, and a husband that is a dream come true, and owner of my little online store Eye Catching Beauty.
I opened Eye Catching Beauty February 13th, 2007 on eBay and loved it. I met a lot of great people/customers both domestic and international. After a couple years I decided to try out another marketplace site -Bonanzle - and had a great time there too. Then I decided I wanted to have my own store, so launched Eye Catching Beauty right here in June 2010.
Of course ECB’s independence required me to acquire new skills & information such as learning html & css to dress up my store and hopefully my design and layout is pleasing to visitors. Also, search engine optimization, marketing… and list goes on. It’s a good thing I enjoy learning new information, because it is definitely part of the job.
